If a contractor does a complete change out of electrical service(Mast Weatherhead,Meter,Service Panel)to a single family home,are they required to provide a grounding rod? What is the NEC code on this?
Yes, there must be a Grounding Electrode System see 250.50
Are you asking because there is no ground rod, or did the contractor possibly use something else as the GEC? If this upgrade is or was inspected the inspector will or would catch this.
