Motor Starter / Disconnected switch

Does anyone have a list (PDF or Excel) or where i can get information on disconnetc swith and starter size. Information i have to fill out for a motorized equipment schedule

It’s actually simple. You cannot use a disconnect switch for a motor load unless that switch is listed as a minimum for the HP rating of the motor. In other words you don’t need to actually calculate anything, you just need to know how to read.

Not true. This is one option. NEC also allows disconnects not rated in HP but you have to check both the amperage rating and the short circuit rating, and it changes depending on whether or not it is fused or unfused.
