hello all,

I'd like to know if the metallic enclosure from wiegman, 6"H x 4"W x 4"D would fit securely on an existing freestanding junction box with the approximate dimensions of 4"H x 2.5"W x 2"D

This junction box is outside and keeps getting broken into by homeless people, and I need to find a solution to put over the junction box so that it wont get broken into anymore. Or at least as easily.

Generally speaking, junction boxes are required to be accessible. So I don't know whether your concept would comply with code.
