NEC states electrical conduit can have 360 degrees in bends. How many degree in sweeps/bends are allowed between manholes for low voltage cable? Also, are opposing bends allowed? I can't find anything the the code book regarding this.

I can't find anything the the code book regarding this. NEC only limits the number of bends, not where they are placed in run.

Re: Low Voltage Outside Plant Conduit

You state this is an outside plant installation. Every job I have done in the past 5 years has had a 180 degree max and the radius of the bends had to be 10 times the conduit diameter. I believe they get this from cable manufactures data and industry standards. I don?t know who you are doing the job for but they may have standards above and beyond the NEC.
