trying to get best way to do this. i am fabricating some steel posts for a small roof system (12x12). i need to bring up some low V direct burial (#14) wire inside the columns to the spot where lights will mount. columns are 6x6x0.125". was thinking round hole at bottom using round plastic snap-in grommet so wire wont rub and cut, but what to use at the top (6ft from ground)? i want to secure it with something like a romex cable clamp but not enough room on the outside to accommodate such fitting (lights have a shallow 3/4" depth to them, and have a bracket that is made to mount to std electrical box). i can weld steel fitting to the columns as needed, just wondering what may work to secure the low v wire.
