These lights have always irritated me. Covers are easily broken. I’ve seen many broken right out of the box. The clamps are poorly installed, fall out easily and many break shortly down the road.

I’m getting ready to install this one in an outdoor walkway. I superglued the clamps at the workbench while I swapped the light to LED. Hopefully this helps solve 1 issue.

The factory could do better IMHO.

I installed the light Saturday morning. One of the clips broke right where I had superglued it. Lithonia has made some good lights but these have always been a disappointment. Next time too, I will not use the external metal mounting brackets. Idea is good, keeping light entirely weatherproof, but it is wobbly when installing tubes & belly pan. Next time I will drill the light as usual & mount directly to deck. Will caulk screws as I’ve usually done with these.

Our Lithonia bollard lights are the best I have ever seen. Very sturdy aluminum tube with good dome caps & shades. We have converted most to LED and still do, as HID ballasts give out. Their mounting brackets are their only weakness but I found a good fix for them. I may have posted that before.
