A show just came on ( Thursday 5:00 EST) the History Channel. It is about High Voltage Education. It looks like a great show.

For those of you who get the History Channel watch it or see if it will be on again. http://www.historychannel.com/global/listings/listings.jsp?NetwCode=THC

Next Airing: Thursday, Jan 15 @ 5pm ET/PT

High Voltage
Look closely at those tall metal towers that span the country and you might see tiny specks climbing up the soaring steel like spiders on an enormous web. Meet the courageous linemen who erect, string, and repair 250-foot high electrical transmission towers, working with energized power lines that can carry up to 765,000 volts! TV PG

Re: Lineman

Saw the show also, and thought it was very cool! :)

Impressive Acrobatic Acts when they were "Tight-Rope Walking" across the bundles!

Only irritating thing was when the Narrator quoted the "Cardinal-Sin" of all B.S. phrases referring to an AC Power Circuit:

"Electricity Is ALWAYS Trying To Return To Earth"

Other than this Baloney, the show had a lot of cool stuff to see - and very little gore/death/massive injury.
Normally those types of shows on Non-Educational Broadcasts will just toss a little bit of interesting stuff on top of an hour of doom and gloom - so this show definitely was a "Thumbs-Up" for myself!

Side Note:
It showed some of the High Voltage DC circuits, which are used here in California, along with the typical High Voltage 3? 3W systems.
LADWP even got into the scenes!
