I have parallel feeders that stub up into an Open Bottom Switchboard.

The Installation is PVC Schedule 40 to a Fiberglass 90 then a piece of Rigid Steel Conduit riser (Approximately 2' to 4' in length) to above the concrete slab into the bottom of an open switchboard.

The way I read 2014 NEC 250.86 Exception #2 is that I do not need to install a Bonding bushing on the rigid stub ups because they are Short Sections of Metal Enclosure to provide Support or protection.

Let me know your thoughts.

Thanks Ed

Thanks after seeing your post I went and re-read the exception and it is clearly indicating that it only applies to cables.

Since your metal RMC is actually part of the raceway system it requires bonding. What's curious about this section is say that you ran your PVC through a short section of RMC would that RMC need to be bonded?

It would seem not according to the wording.
