Hi Guys,
I've got a 120V circuit going from distribution panel to a fire alarm and protection panel. Based on NEC 760.41, this branch circuit would be classified as NPLFA. Now, based on NEC 760.48(A), this circuit can be combined with other non-fire alarm related Class 1 circuit in the same raceway.
Is my interpretation correct of NEC 760.48(A)? I don't think 760.48(B) would be applicable in this scenario, since it discusses Power-Supply Circuits, which could be constructed as circuits supplying fire alarm devices downstream of the fire panel.
Am I right on this?
I'll probably end up supplying the power to fire panels in dedicated conduits to make the system "rugged", I was just wondering if there are any requirements in the code that require me to do so.
Thanks,
EE
