IEC Apprenticeship Program

Are there any members here familar with the Indepedent Electrical Contractors Apprenticeship Program (IEC)?

The program I currently work for is considering an association/alliance with this organization.

The school I teach for just adopted this program. I taught 1st and 2nd year apprentices for two quarters. I don't know how much help I can be but I'll try to answer any questions.

I'm not sure if it is the same program, but a couple electricians I have worked with fairly recently went through a non-union apprenticship course sponsored by this organization (or something very similarly named).

I was very impressed with the knowledge and skill they exhibited. Both of them were near the end of their apprenticeship and the work they were doing was very solid.

Interestingly, both had a 2 year college degree they had earned before deciding to become electricians.
