HVAC equipment circuit

The 120v circuit near air handler and or controls in attic. Does that circuit need to be dedicated for that equipment ONLY? If so can could someone help me with nec reference. I had customer tell me HVAC guys wouldnt work on hvaC because it was being used for lighting in attic and it had to be dedicated for warranty

I would say the AHU needs to be on a dedicated circuit. 422.12 Central Heating Equipment requires a dedicated circuit. Only a pump,valve, humidifier etc related equipment can be connected to the Ahu circuit
