HELP "pool grounding"

More Questions on grounding for above ground pool! Heater is 220v, Iam running #12 wire to heater,supplied with 1/2in. in tubing grounding from panel to heater then can i run #8 shielded around pool from heater or continue with #12. Also do i need to go with a rod in earth.

I'm not sure what your electrical experience consists of, but you really need to hire an electrician that is familiar with pool wiring for this project. Have you read article 680?

What would you use the #8 shielded for? Maybe a better question is what is the shield used for?

You have no business doing this work. From your questions it is clear that you are in way over your head. Hire an electrician with pool wiring experience.

I am going to lock this post. What bothers me is what else the orginal poster is not asking.
Tubing?
#8 shielded?
Also don't forget your permit and inspection, even if you do the work yourself, which you should not do.
