Hello: I am the granddaughter of Bennie Palmer. My grandfather has entered the hospice program for terminal lung cancer patients.

Lyndsey, I consider Bennie a friend. He is an opinionated man with some very strange ideas that loves to spar with us. Bennie has made us think outside the box and added spice to the forum. He will be missed more than you can imagine if he can't recover.

Bennie has a real sense of humor, and I think many of his posts were not as seriously meant as some of us took them. They served to open up important topics and get all the views out on the table. Good work, Bennie!

As for the future of us all, my feeling is that we will all have a very pleasant surprise.
