grounding LFMC

I also posted this under UL, so if you see both, I'm sorry.

Does the metal core in a liquidtight flexible metal condiut, UL1, over six feet long need to be grounded.

In my opinion the metal parts of LFMC must always be connected to an EGC. See 250.4(A)(2).
