Does anyone know of a specific requirement in the code for grounding a chain link fence if it is any particular distance over 10 feet from a dwelling swimming pool?

The code does not require conductive materials to be bonded to the grounding system that is more than 5' feet horizontal or 12' feet vertical to the inside wall of the pool. However, if you feel there is an assoicated risk or hazard, the code does not prevent you from additional bonding. :)

680.26 Bonding (B)(5)
The distance requirement for bonding metal wiring methods and equipment is, any that are within 5ft horizontally.

This article doesn't say fences directly, but does mention observation stands, towers, or platforms, or any diving structures. I guess one can conclude that fixed metal objects like fences would qualify, and be required to be 5ft away minimum.
