According to NEC 555.35(a), any feeder installed on docking facility need to be protected by GFPE <= 100mA. Based on this rule, it appears all feeders from shore over water needs to be protected, regardless if dock is floating or fixed, is that correct?
What about cases where we have a concrete piled structure extending out from land to berth larger vessels (bulk carrier, LNG vessels, etc.)?
In these cases, there are often wharf-based substations. Thus GFPE protection for both feeders to & from substation?
