What trades( besides electrical) have involvement in a large generator install and what do they handle?
Know mechanical for sure, they handle muffler I believe etc.? Would plumber handle fuel?
How about assembly of genset if it comes in pieces. What trade would assemble?
Steamfitters have any involvement? Thanks

If the fuel is installing a storage tank and piping to the genset tank then that would typically be done by a fuel contractor. In NC, it's a "process" to get the permit for this stuff.

This is the basic list for a large generator:
Electrician-Steel rails in concrete, all conduit and wiring, batteries, transfer switches, battery charging system, permanent load bank
Concrete Masons-Concrete pad
Riggers-Set in place, install vibration eliminators
Plumber-Natural gas (when used as fuel source)
Steamfitter-Double walled diesel fuel lines (when used as fuel source), fuel tanks, muffler and exhaust system
Tin Knocker-Air intake system, duct work and dampers
Generator mechanics-startup, testing, minor assembly
