Hi hoping someone can help with a question. So Im trying to help out my brother he just picked up an older generac 7k standby generator to use for power for a off the grid garage only when he's there to do something. So prior he used a small Honda 2k portable generator, and just had it plugged into the plug on the front of the generator nice and easy. I went to help him wire this generator in and it only has a double pull 30a breaker no neutral location. We put a small electrical panel in the garage and drove a ground rod in for the panel, but Im not sure what to do about the lack of neutral? Hoping there's a easy solution. Thanks for any help!
