I'm being told that correct is wrong. That's why this thread is here.
And, like you're saying about expensive wire runs, in order to bring my existing, correctly installed, GEC and electrode system up to the requirements of an ignorant EC would mean 150' of 4 awg through and around 3 seperate garage areas and under 50' of basement.
Yeah, I have an extra $100 I don't need and 3/4 of a day or better to satisfy some "professional" that needs to learn his trade.
My problem is only that I want to know where this misunderstanding comes from. OK, maybe that's not my ONLY problem.
Bob, really, the NEC and I are getting along slightly better now days. Well, almost slightly better.
