Furnace and Hot water on same circuit?

Hey guys, I have a tiny gas furnace I assume the blower will pull 3-4 amps max and a 7 gallon electric water heater that will pull 12 amps. Can I put them both on the same 20amp circuit? I can't find anything in NEC against it.

Nope.

422.12 Central Heating Equipment. Central heating equip‐
ment other than fixed electric space-heating equipment shall
be supplied by an individual branch circuit.
