Im Justin Rodriguez I have a question on Fuel Tank storage grounding.
We work in "Tank farms" for Conoco Phillips a lot and there has been a question on grounding these tanks...these tanks are around 80,000 barrels and I have worked for some companies that make us ground each side with 2/0 on each side, and now we are having a debate or to do this or not due to cathodic protection.
Can you shed some light on this situation? Are we supposed to ground it?? Does the NEC say we need to, I cant find it but ...
