10-12 kVA is fairly common I think.

We have a typical dishwasher sized one in the shop. I can look at the nameplate tomorrow morning for you. I think I run it off a 30A (208 VAC) breaker, so my guess is ours is a little bit smaller than 10KVA. Will let you know.

Thanks guys. I have to do some rough quick and dirty calcs. Ill figure about 10. Looked at a few online and the biggest one I found was about 16KVA.

Just to follow up... Kwired's estimate is spot on. This is our rental charger...



And the nameplate indicates 26A at 208 VAC -->> which is ~ 9.4 KVA.
