Electric Radiant Floor Heating

Hi All,

Does anyone know if the electric floor heat units such as "Warm Tiles" and "Nuheat" are approved. I am an inspector and I remember that there was some controversy about their approval.

I have a UL Listing (E30029) but it does not reference the brand name.

Any experience would be helpful.

Byron: You are the one that approves things (see definition). I'm not sure if they are listed or not.

I think when he says "approved" he means UL listed

The manufacturers name is not shown on the product?

While your inspecting, make sure they are fed from a GFCI as should be stated in the installation instructions.
