The ADA lift is in the hoistway and serves the basement and the 1st floor. The basement is used for offices. So I believe the rise of the elevator is at least 7ft. Does this lift requires firefighter emergency operation and be part of the fire alarm system? The primary, secondary recall, shut down and fire hat control function?
I think in reality, many 2 floors' ADA lift didn't do this. But ASME A17.1 does require it.
