All,

I am humbly asking if I am seeing this wrong...

I was clicking around on this site and read an article about an electrocution in a pool, then clicked on Mike Holt's "swimming pools and spas 2014NEC.pdf". On page 13 figure 680.30 shows the depth of the luminaire as 18 inches MAX.

Is it supposed to be 18 inches MIN?

Sorry for the rookie question,

D.

Should be 18" minimum. Got a link to the graphic?

Thanks to all that replied, I am quite unsure of pools/spas and such.

I do try to understand and study everything that this site offers, but sometimes get my shirttail caught in the gears (NEC-speak scares me sometimes) . I suppose this time I am possibly in the okay territory.
