Have a customer that I've installed an astrological clock on an LED sign that draws 16 amps. When it's overcast, etc, during certain days the want the sign to come on. My thought was to put control circuit that overrides the clock, but I can't seem to find a lighting contactor that is rated for LED lights. I know that this astrological clock, when I purchased it, was just recently rated by UL to be good for LED lighting loads. The other timers in this manufactured were not yet UL listed for LED loads. I remember talking with one of the Engineers who was telling me that the other timers were going through the UL listing process. Anyone have info as to what contactor is rated for KED loads?
