What are the codes requirements as to how many cables can be pull through a seal fitting. 18 gage wire, 3/4 inch seal. Can anyone advice on this?

Re: conductors through a seal fitting

Standard seal fittings are listed for 25% fill base on the trade size of the fitting. There are "oversized" seal fittings available listed for 40% fill.

See 501.5(C)(6).

You will have to do the math using Tables 4 and 5 in Chapter 9.

I get 3/4 rigid has .549 square inches.
25% of this is .13725 square inches.

Depending on the insulation type, I see from .0031 to .0145 square inches per #18 wire. Worse case, is RFH-2, I get 9 conductors. Best case is KF-2, I get 44 conductors.

The hard part will be separating each conductor with Chico without damaging the conductor.
