Anyone know of a manufacturer that makes a 4" square box made for a concrete pour application?
We are installing boxes within concrete columns to be poured on-site. We can only find octagon-shaped boxes designed for concrete-pour applications. Can cast iron or stamped steel be used even if they are not specifically listed for use in curing concrete.

Re: Concrete junction boxes

I have always used standard boxes with duct tape to seal the openings, this could be 4" square, 4-11/16, masonry boxes, etc... these are all galvanized boxes.

Re: Concrete junction boxes

What about a 2 gang masonry box. It's about 4x4, and is 3.5" deep (very nice to work in). The front holes on it are for mounting devices though, not any 4s covers...though if you need to come out of it with pipe, a standard 4s add on ring will do the job. They make these up to 4 gang, see page 40 of this

catalog.
