"receptacles shall be part of the premises wiring"

I'm not sure what that means.
Can we use a regular receptacle in a Class II, Div 2 space?

No. You are citing Section 502.145.)B)(1); however, it is subordinate to the main text of Section 502.145 which requires the receptacles to be identified for the location.

As noted by justme123, Premises Wiring (System) is defined in Article 100.

Thanks.

I did read the definition.

Know any receptacles and switches identified for Class II Div. 2 ?
Virtually every manufacturer of HAZLOC equipment makes them. For Example. Note they are not required to be explosionproof, [Section 502.5] but many are dual rated. In Division 2 they are required to be dusttight. [Section 502.10(B)(4)]
