Can a 60 amp subpanel handle it

I was wanting to run a sub panel for a tankless water heater. It requires 3 50 amp double pole breakers. I was wondering if a 60 amp sub panel can handle it seeing how the right wire size is already ran close by for a heater that has been pulled out?
