I am having a problem with a cable. The cable schedule says the insulation type is PLDSTS.Size is 3c *4/0.
That is the only information I am having. Can anybody explain, what kind of cable is that.

Thanks in advance

I've not heard of that type of cable. Best I can guess is the PL stands for power-limited. Put me in mind of PLTC, where the TC stands for tray cable.

Perhaps the DS stands for data or signal and the TS is a typo for TC... but I can't imagine anyone using a 4/0 conductor cable for data or signal transmission!!!

Sounds like an RFI is in order.
