I hope this is an easy one for one of the experts. I'd like to thank you in advance for any insight into this.
I have an explosion proof box (C1, D1&D2) with arcing and sparking devices installed. Eg: CB. This is installed in a C1, D2 environment/area.
The question I have is about the cable glands. Do the glands need to be C1,D1 ????
Im being directed to install only C1, D1 explosion proof glands. Something just does not seem right.
