C1, D1 Junction box

If a junction box is located within a C1, D1 area, but has no arcing devices inside of it. Does the junction box still need to be C1, D1 rated? It will only be used as point for terminals. All terminals will be wired to a "plug and sleeve" type of connector, so there "shouldn't" be any reason for anyone to disconnect any wiring from the terminals. Any help is very much appreciated, thank you.
