Burnt insulation sniffer

I know HVAC guys have a sniffer for freon leaks. Do we have one for smoke leaks from circuits? I have gotten a lot of calls for burnt electrical smells and a sniffer would be nice. Maybe we could train a bloodhound?

Probably an infrared camera would be the closest we have besides a dog.
