Transitioning into a box and they want to use a large 6x6 Nema 1 box with #6/2 wire to make allowance for 2 insulating port taps taps and I am looking for box fill allowance for using insulating port taps? If I were to use wire nuts to splice then no allowance is needed according to code but what about larger insulating port taps? Are port taps counted or not?
