Bonding of Piping Systems

Hi. I'm trying to understand the requirement to bond metal water piping in bldgs of multiple occupancies (ie triplex apartment). If non metallic piping separates the metalic piping between each occupancy, the metalic piping for each occ is allowed to be bonded its respective panelboard. 250.104(A)(2)
My question is what if there's no non metalic piping separting each occupancy. How is the metal piping in each occupancy to be bonded?

In my opionion, once (A)(2) does not apply, as in your case, (A)(1) does apply.

I concur with Ryan, if the entire structure is piped in copper, then water bonding should be done at the SES, per 250-104 (A)(1).
