i'm installing a 21 kv to 480 v xfmr that feeds a 1600 amp switchgear all private owned equiptmint. my feeders to the switchgear are quad 350 mcm w/ 3/0 grounds. The plans call for grounds to hit the xo in the xfmr & ground bus at switchgear (which has a 4/0 uffer in in the footing . Do I need a bonding jumper at switchgear between ground and neutral?

Re: bonding jumper

NO. After the transformer, neutral and ground should remain seperate. Single point grounding in 250-30(A) and 250-30(A)(1).Is the faculity primary metered? Does your installation qualify as a "service"?

Re: bonding jumper

dwop...Where is the connection of the ufer electrode? At the switchgear or the transformer? The system bonding jumper is required to be at the same location as the grounding electrode conductor connection.
