I have two 1/2 Hp 120V 1ph drain pumps that pump to a 2" metal drain line. The pumps have a float the causes them to cycle on/off as needed to keep water level down. The pumps are connected to the drain line via rubber hoses. The drain line ends at a sewer drain 15' outside the building. I know I can play it safe and bond this pipe but I'm just wondering if it is required per code 250.104. There seems to be an exception for isolated sections of metal pipe. The metal pipe runs in a trench with lots of other pipes (that are bonded) for around 100'.

I would not even try to bond the pipe. I don't see anything to be gained by it.
