Bathroom/Shower Occupancy Sensor

Hi all,

I am working on a building serves as the bathroom and shower. Usually for the controls we just put dual-technology for all rooms. I heard that Infrared is not good for bathrooms with multiple stalls, and ultrasonic is preferred, guess dual-technology still works just less false triggering of the lights. But if this bathroom also has shower stalls, I heard that ultrasonic is not good due to steam in the shower. Any thoughts for sensors used in these types of rooms?

IR requires line of sight.
A decent dual technology can be configured differently, such as IR+US to activate, and only one of the two to stay alive.
