Probably not, but where is being installed?

What are the power requirements?

I noticed you list your occupation as 'electrical quality control'.

Does this job involve working with premise wiring systems?

It's being installed in a finished basement.
Power requirements by the namelpate is 16.2 amps @ 120 volts.
It has 2 cords for hook-up so I was planning on 2- 20 amp circuits
one circuit for each cord using a 20 amp duplex receptacle breaking off the tab between the plugs and feeding each with it's own circuit. Also was gonna use a 2 pole 20 amp breaker to feed it so I would be in compliance
with the N.E.C. on multiwire circuits. I just don't want to buy GFI receptacles
or breakers if I don't have to.
As for my name. I work for a company that provides shelters to the cellular
phone industry as well as a lot of electrical utilities. We have shelters in every state in the union as well as 86 countries. I have had hands on experience with generators,UPS systems, fire suppression systems D.C. power
and HVAC systems.

So Larry, To answer your post. If I had TFM I'd have RTFM.

That's correct. I usually say that RTFM means Read The Manual, which usually leads to "what does the F mean?"

My better third usually says that RTFM means Read The Field Manual. It actually may have at some point in time.

Could you guys tell me what TFM, RTFM, LMAO and IMO mean? Thanks.

David

TFM - The "Furnished" Manual/Materials
RTFM - Read The "Furnished" Manual/Materials
(You can substitute any word beginning with "F" there)
LMAO - Laughing My Arse Off ~ ROFL - Rolling On Floor Laughing
IMO - In My Opinion ~ or IMHO - In My Humble Opinion
YMMV - Your Mileage May Vary
FWIW - For What It's Worth

I'm sure someone has a link for this type of "shorthand".
