American Electricians' Handbook for VA Journeyman Electrician Exam

Hi All,

American Electricians' Handbook is one of the open books for Virginia Journeyman Electrician Exam. Does anyone have any experience and pointer how to utilize this book during the exam as it seems like most of the questions are just referring to the NEC code book instead.

That is one large book full of information. Make sure you have at least opened it before using it on a test. Study hard and good luck.

Yes, thanks! I have tabbed the book and a bit reading. As there is only limited time during the test, is this book maybe is more practical in the real life field instead of the test?

I don’t know anything about the VA Journeyman test, so I can’t tell you. My copy of the AEH is about a 1968, and I haven’t referred to it for some years now. It was one of the reference books used in school back when.
