Adding a second AC disconnect

I'm adding a mini-split air conditioner. It will be located to near the existing central AC, and I am planning on using the existing wiring (6/2, 50-amp breaker in the main panel). The existing AC is wired to a disconnect with 40-amp fuse installed. The mini-split will require a 10-amp fused disconnect.

My question is, can I daisy-chain a second disconnect from the line terminals of the existing disconnect?
