AC to DC Isolation Junction Box

Please accept my apologies for the simplicity of this question. I've used this forum in the past for research and found it a wonderful source of helpful knowledge.

I was checking for what was code for an AC-to-DC power supply, to wire low voltage LED (24V, 60W < 96W).

I see this item ( http://www.goodmart.com/products/diode-led-lo-pro-junction-box-di-0980.htm ) and
this NEC reference:
http://ecmweb.com/content/code-rules-low-voltage-lighting
http://www.q-tran.com/sites/default/files/NEC article 411.pdf

However most of the supplies I have have screw terminals, so I can't exactly isolate them in another compartment- and adding a set of pigtails would seem silly.

I also have come up pretty much blank trying to find similar boxes- I saw one power supply stuffed inside a 2 gang metal junction box which (would seem not to) provide isolating the inputs.

What am I missing?

Thank you in advance-

Welcome to the forum. Do you have a link to the power supply you use? Some of those screw terminal types are made to be part of final unit inside an enclosure; they are not stand alone pieces.

Thank you-

The 3 supplies I have (I, sadly, enjoy buying cheap supplies at time and testing them on a scope for noise, etc) are-

And a very inexpensive unit that (actually) has covered terminals with decently rated plastic.

I appreciate the response and apologize for the delay- I've been on extensive travel for work.

Have you read section 725.136. It is not a matter of being AC or DC, but rather circuit classifications.

Indeed- in fact, it was one of the explanations that circled me back to this site-

I was have just been hung up on the 'isolation' of the high voltage and low voltage. No box (unless I buy a 4x and gang them together), or buy a 'project box', and attach the power supply in there, seems to have the necessary OTS clearances.

I have seen installs in various hotels (shiver) where the open frame PSU is just sitting on the back of the bar/under the table. Just trying to do it right.

Can I necro this thread? Has there been any new products in the industry that anyone is aware of that satisfy the combination of isolation and separation for AC-to-DC electrical connections?
