Do I need to install 50 amps GFCI breaker ?
Depends on if it is indoors/outdoors, dwelling/non dwelling, which NEC cycle applies, or combinations of all of those factors. (Indoors is presuming it is in a garage).

2017 I believe will likely require GFCI for non dwelling application in nearly all situations but not necessarily at a dwelling.

2020 would likely require GFCI in just about any application, including dwellings.

2014 probably would not require GFCI in most any application.

Know the Washington exceptions/changes to the NEC and where to find them: https://app.leg.wa.gov/wac/default.aspx?cite=296-46b

Note that the 2020 NEC is effective October 29th of this year. That will levy a GFCI requirement on all garage receptacles, including 240V ones. Hard wired, it won't need it.
technically, it is receptacles operating at 150 volts to ground or less. In dwellings that would be pretty rare to be more than 150 to ground though.
