2000 amp service

I am in the process of installing a 2000 amp service. I ordered the wire pre cut at 180 each run thats 24 runs at 180 feet. But my supplier sent out 19 cuts or rolls at 180 feet and then 5 cuts or rolls from a different manufactorer, Still 500 kcmil but different manufacurer. Will this be acceptable to the inspector, it would be a nightmare to re pull. Thanks again, Butch

Yeah it could be a problem if the insulation is not the same, but different manufactures should be fine

The paralleled conductors in each phase, neutral, or grounded circuit conductor shall

(1) Be the same length

(2) Have the same conductor material

(3) Be the same size in circular mil area

(4) Have the same insulation type

(5) Be terminated in the same manner

Just wondering why not 6 sets of 400 kcmil for 2010 amps?

Mr. I Wire,
We do nothing but special work for certain people. We must follow thier specs or deal with the explaination at the end, i'd much rather not have to argue or even ask why.
