I had an inspector show me once where you could legally install 2/0 copper conductors for a 200 amp panel, and I can not find that section which allows this. Has anyone else seen or heard of this before? If so, can you direct me to the section of the code please.

Thanks in advance.

310.15(B)(6) applies to 120/240 volt single-phase single-family dwelling services only.

310.15 B6 is for dwelling services and feeders, 120/240 v. 1 phase. If ca C10 has a 3 phase service, I am guessing it is not in a residential setting? See table 310.16, I believe 3/0 is minimum.
