I love this tool. Don't know if you guys use a stapler for romex/nm or bx but i hate driving staples with a hammer and hitting my fingers. Anyone know of any other staplers out there?
I bought this on from ACME tools for 369.00 but then found on home depot site as a special buy for 200 so got the difference refunded. They must have gotten popular because I am not able to find it that cheap again, but still worth the price of 369.00.................... My son would like his own so I need to buy another

I'll stick with my $49 Arrow T75, TYVM.
I'm with you on this. Even with this hand operated stapler, if you plan on using it regularly for every cable run you'll go broke buying staples. I generally use it for those tight areas in the basement where you have to run along the plate above a block wall. It's ideal for that purpose.

It does takes quite a strong grip, and if you have your hand at a sharp angle, it's almost impossible to squeeze the lever in. I would like to be able to 'cock' the thing in a seperate move, and just hit a light trigger to 'fire' it. I would use it more if I could do that.

Design it to use cheaper staples, not jam, and you'd be a millionaire.

The strap gun I have never jams when I could just as easily have hand banged a staple, it decides to jam when I'm 50' into a crawlspace and have neither a hammer nor pocket of staples on me.

Regardless of the tool, it will always have one staple less than you really need.
