With the advent of the integrated 120 volt duplex receptacle and USB charging stations, what would be a conservative power rating for the consolidated unit? These are becoming more prevalent as we move forward with technology.

My vote is 200 watts per duplex receptacle with 2 USB charging unit connections.

180 watts or VA plus 2-USB connections at 6 VA each. The 6 VA was obtained from published product manufacturer's data.

Some units are simplex with 2 USB ports. Thus 90+6+6=102W or VA. Load aside, I personally worry that with duplex unit with 2 USB ports very close on the face that persons trying to push in the USB plug will miss and get near line voltage! Thoughts?

The receptacle is still 180VA per yoke... and that is assuming it's non-dwelling. You can add a few VA if you want (6VA is likely the output rating, so even a few more in consideration of inefficiency)... but at this time doing so is not required by Code.
