Hello to all- I have a friend who owns a business and he has asked me to wire up a propane pumping station so he can sell refills for 20 pound tanks. He wants to sink a pole next to the free standing utility pole and mount an emergency disconnect (it will be greater than 25' from the pumps). I'm thinking that I can come out of the disconnect, go up the pole in conduit and out a weather head. This wire will then go over to another pole sunk next to the pump control box, into another weather head and down the pole in conduit and flex into the pump control box. The voltage requirement for the pumps is 3 phase, 240 volts. Can someone familiar with this type of installation provide me with some insight? What kind of wire is needed? Thanks to all who reply.

Are you familiar at all with hazardous location wiring and chapter 5 of the NEC?

If not you may want to reconsider whether or not you want to take this project on.
