I have a situation that involves the placement of floor recepts within the enclosed indoor pool room within a 10" range of the edge of the water -- All the perimeter walls are glass and the placement is more for general purposes. I feel if the recept is in use the watertight requirement is not maintained and the install is not recommended. I believe that a recept can be placed outside of the room within 20' for compliance.
Any NEC/ICC code comments on this situation is greatly appreciated in order for a compliant ruling.

There is a similar topic in another current thread, but with an outdoor pool and someone wanting a floor receptacle.

A product was mentioned in that thread that thread that very well may work, but I still don't like the idea of a floor receptacle in a wet location. Can you maybe stub up a couple RMC and attach a malleable iron box near the perimeter, then you wouldn't need to attach to the glass wall.
